I can not see any mistake in the address. I have been using your product for a few years now and it is great. I have the newest version of OTT 0. After updating the OTT a couple issues are occurring I had posted this topic in the Oculus General forum some time ago but never got any reply's. Another older issue which has not shown up this time so far is that the OTT would load and minimize to the task bar fine but often lately after a few seconds it would shut down and I would need to start it again.
I hope this problem does not come back but I have not had time to use the new version enough times to determine if the issue has disappeared. Now that we have easy access to the Adaptive tools thanks for thatI have questions.

As part of the Oculus SDK Software Development KitOculus ship a handy tool which allows devs to throw extra information to help them troubleshoot performance issues or glitches and control runtime rendering elements like compositor layers etc.
This is effectively a form of super-sampling, a particularly expensive form of anti-aliasing that also happens to produce excellent image quality. But for games that offer minimal graphical options, and assuming you have the GPU grunt to push more pixels and maintain that hallowed 90FPS. For the purposes of gauging image quality when compiling this very quick walk-through, we used the recently released Edge of Nowhere from Insomniac Gamesa very pretty title which, sadly includes zero options to tweak in-game pixel density.

Baking AO into lightmaps instead of rendering at runtime and limiting dynamic shadows to only a few meshes helps alot. Idem for the lod batching tool from Unreal, which allows to significantly reduce the numbers of drawcalls. For my project, Screenpercentage at seems to be the sweet spot.
Lighting channels is one of my favorite new features. I would miss all the fancy deferred features, but the performance boost with MSAA is enticing. Didnt need to switch so far. I've also found that you cannot repeat a drop or gain once it's happened via this method until a power cycle, I don't think it's one or either settings that cause lower or higher but rather a bug in the firmware that hasn't detected it correctly.
Hopefully someone can at least link my post and one of the Devs or support team here so they can see what's going on, another user has also confirmed this bug and fixed the performance. Thanks, Aran. In preparation for the big cross-country move, I wanted to slim down some of my possessions. My large desktop computer tower was my first target. I also downsized to a smaller NAS storage device. Not much has changed in the Intel landscape since my last build.
They're still based on a 14nm process but Intel now has 8 core chips based on Coffee Lake using a newer Z chipset. The other noticable change has been Nvidia's release of their RTX line of graphics cards. Although AMD has some interesting stuff coming out soon with their 7nm core Ryzen 9 X chip, Lightroom is still historically most performant with Intel processors but I am eager to see how it performs once they get released and has diminishing returns with more than 8 cores nowadays except for certain tasks exporting which aren't a priority for me.
The other thing that has changed in the last year and a half is that Adobe Lightroom Classic CC—since renamed to just Lightroom Classic—has received a steady stream of updates addressing performance. While it has not been a massive difference, Lightroom Classic does seem to be markedly improved at using additional cores, especially with respect to the Develop module where I spend most of my time in Lightroom.
It took a while to find the RTX Ti in stock at the time I was looking for it, and in a 2-slot version that would fit in a small form factor case. I began researching air cooling options for my K.
And that's when it became clear how tight the dimensions for this case were. There were only a few common air cooling options and none felt like they could handle the 95W TDP of the K; and definitely not overclocked and definitely not quietly.
Another popular option for that case was using a single fan radiator AIO watercooler. However, that would make for an extremely cramped build some folks would even use an external power supply! It seemed like I was pushed in a corner and began considering sticking with my 6-core K or choosing some other processor that would generate less heat. Instead, I decided to sell the A4-SFX case and get something a bit larger that could accomodate my hardware needs but still be considerably more compact that my previous desktop tower.
I went with the lovely Louqe Ghost S1. Then, if you so choose, you can add a "tophat" that extends the case to provide a bit more extensibility for whatever you need: be it more space for hard drives or added room for fans or other cooling solutions. The downside of adding a tophat is that it does of course make the case taller and a bit less aesthetically appealing. I initially considered simply air cooling the K in the Ghost S1. When the game pixels line up with the screen pixels it can make the screen door effect much more obvious. With SS on everything is smoothed out nicely, the screens melt away and the Virtual world seems so much more natural. Depending on the game you will require a more powerful computer to run high levels of SS.
With VR you always need to make sure your computer can keep a solid Framerate, if you push settings like SS to high you will start losing frames and the motion sickness will kick in.
Each game will have a different limit depending on your hardware, for reference if you have a GTX then you can probably set SS between 1. A good idea would be to start somewhere around 1.
You can use voice commands to change on the fly or exit the game and adjust in the tray tool.
On the other hand if things become choppy or you start to feel sick, drop it back down. If you run out of space on the drive Oculus is installed too, you would normally have to completely uninstall the software and then reinstall it on the new drive, downloading all your games all over again.
